About the Role:
The Orthodontic Assistant is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner. The Orthodontic Assistant performs a wide range of orthodontic procedures, as well as assisting the doctor during appointments, sterilization procedures, and occasional minor lab work.  This role spans our three convenient locations: Silverdale, Poulsbo, and Port Orchard. Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable
  • Assist the Orthodontist with braces, Invisalign, and other procedures
  • Take digital images, photos, and intraoral scans.
  • Educate patients and parents about care instructions 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Qualifications:
  • Dental experience is required; Orthodontic experience is preferred.
  • Washington State Registered Dental Assistant.
  • Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members, and the community.
  • Keen attention to detail and time management skills.
